With Frank Jensen, Frank Lotz, and Tobias Muller, the parlor is never empty. The Soulparlor crew have been holding it down for some time, with their former label Sense Music producing gems like Right On and Taster’s Choice, and balancing London’s fierce brukage with some deep electronic Mainz soul. After releasing three singles and an album, word spread to DJ’s like Swedish vinyl junkie Mad Mats, who signed some Soulparlor flavour to his Raw Fusion label – as did West London hero Domu and his TrebleO imprint. GAMM and Bagpak Music also snapped up several of their broken jazzy work outs, linking the boys with lynchpins like Recloose, Daz-I-Kue, and Colonel Red. Their global network of music heads continues to grow, with a follow up to their debut album due for release on german label Tokyo Dawn, while also remixing the great and the good from a new generation of artists. This Train Wreck mix sees them mixing their trademark bag of boogie and deep house with bruk beat dubs and dance floor bombs. Do you parlez soul?
